Overview

The Korea Society of Agricultural and Forest Meteorology is founded on March 20, 1999 to promote and distribute the research and application of theories and technologies on agricultural and forest meteorology. We also effort to link academic and business, and to contribute to national food security and ecosystem conservation.

Our society conducts academic activities in 10 specialized sections, including agricultural micro-meteorology, local climate, agricultural climate modification, mountain weather, plant disease and insect pest, environmental measurement , ecological model, agricultural utilization, hydrological weather, and agricultural remote sensing. Results of our academic activities are presented through publication of the Korea Journal of Agricultural and Forest Meteorology four times a year as well as annual conference and workshops.
